24-Outlet Switched PDU for 30A Racks

This vertical 0U power distribution unit delivers single-phase AC power at 200, 208 or 240 volts to 24 individually switched outlets. It is built for data-centre racks and industrial cabinets that need remote on/off/reboot control and per-outlet current monitoring from a single 30A feed.

Vertical 0U Mount with L6-30P Input

The 10.0-foot cord ends in a NEMA L6-30P plug, feeding two 20A branch breakers that each protect 12 outlets. Twenty C13 and four C19 IEC 60320 receptacles accept standard server and networking cords, while the 0U form factor mounts flush against rack posts without consuming horizontal U space.

Replaces Basic Metered or Unmanaged Strips

Upgrading from a non-switched PDU adds outlet-level power cycling, HTML5 browser access, SNMP and SSH monitoring plus email alerts without Java. The jump is worth it when administrators need to reboot hung servers remotely, track per-device load up to 5.8 kW total, or integrate with PowerAlert and EnviroSense2 sensors for environmental oversight.

Questions about this item

What does the NEMA L6-30P input plug limit the PDU to in practice?

The NEMA L6-30P plug restricts the unit to a 30 A single-phase supply at 200-240 V, giving a maximum capacity of 5.8 kW across the 24 switched outlets.

What physical space and mounting does the vertical 0U chassis require?

The 0U vertical design mounts inside a standard rack enclosure using integrated toolless buttons or brackets, consuming zero horizontal rack units while presenting 20 C13 and 4 C19 outlets along its length.

How is the LX Platform interface configured, and what step is often missed?

Connect the Ethernet port to a 10/100 network, then browse to the unit's IP address to configure HTTPS, SNMP v1/v2/v3 and email alerts; the step often missed is uploading a valid TLS certificate before enforcing HTTPS-only access.
