12-Outlet Vertical Power Strip

This 36-inch power strip provides twelve NEMA 5-15R outlets for connecting computers, peripherals and workshop tools in a single vertical run. The 15-foot cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug reaches distant wall receptacles without extension leads. A built-in 15A resettable circuit breaker protects connected equipment from overloads.

15A Circuit and Outlet Spacing

The unit draws up to 15 amps at 120 volts, so total connected load must stay within that limit to avoid tripping the breaker. Outlets are spaced 2.64 inches apart, which fits most AC adapters and transformer blocks side by side. UL 1363 and cUL listings confirm compliance with North American safety standards for relocatable power taps.

Replaces Shorter Multi-Outlet Strips

It replaces shorter desktop strips when you need more outlets in a rack, bench or floor-mounted layout. The jump is worth it when cable runs exceed the reach of standard six-foot cords or when bulky adapters would block adjacent sockets on tighter designs. Mounting hardware is included for vertical or horizontal installation.

Questions about this item

Should I pick this 36-inch 12-outlet strip or a shorter model with fewer sockets?

Choose the 36-inch version when you need all 12 NEMA 5-15R outlets spaced 2.64 inches apart for bulky adapters; a shorter strip would reduce outlet count and spacing.

What does the 15 A rating mean once the strip is plugged into a standard 120 V wall outlet?

The 15 A resettable circuit breaker lets you draw up to 15 amps total across all 12 outlets before it trips, protecting connected gear from overload.

How does the NEMA 5-15P plug and 15-foot cord limit where I can place the unit?

The NEMA 5-15P plug fits any standard 120 V receptacle, and the 15-foot cord lets you mount the strip vertically or horizontally up to that distance from the wall outlet.
