Its extruded aluminium housing holds twelve right-angle NEMA 5-15R receptacles spaced 2.64 inches centre-to-centre. A 15-foot input cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug connects to a standard 120 V AC supply. A lighted switch with a locking transparent cover prevents accidental shut-off.

Sustained-load behaviour

The strip is rated for a continuous 15 A at 120 V AC across 50 or 60 Hz, so the full complement of outlets can be used simultaneously without derating.
