Direct UPS Battery Replacement

The Tripp Lite RBC58-2U is a 2U rack-mount battery cartridge designed specifically for the SMART3000RMXL2U uninterruptible power supply. It restores backup runtime when the original internal cells reach end of life. Installation is handled by sliding the cartridge into the UPS chassis without tools.

Pre-Wired Cartridge Convenience

The unit arrives as a complete, pre-assembled module containing matched cells and integrated wiring. This eliminates the need to handle loose batteries, crimp terminals or configure series strings. The cartridge format reduces replacement time and avoids wiring errors that could damage the UPS electronics.

Rack-Mount Build and 12 V Output

The cartridge weighs 30.40 lb and fits a standard 2U rack opening, securing with the UPS front-panel latches. It delivers a nominal 12 V DC output compatible with the host UPS charging circuit. Rated service life spans 26297.44 to 43829.06 hours under typical float conditions. Buyers needing extended runtime beyond the SMART3000RMXL2U internal capacity or a different form factor cannot use this cartridge.
