Direct UPS Battery Replacement

The Tripp Lite RBC64-1U is a certified replacement battery cartridge designed for SMART750RM1U and SMX750RM1U uninterruptible power supply units. It arrives as a pre-assembled set of four 6V batteries wired for a 24 VDC system voltage. Installation is tool-free and requires no separate wiring. The cartridge restores original runtime performance immediately.

Swaps Out Aged Internal Cells

This cartridge replaces the original factory battery set when capacity fades after extended service. The jump is worth it when the UPS reports a battery fault, self-test failures increase, or runtime during outages drops below the level needed for safe shutdown. Reusable packaging holds the expired cells for recycling centre delivery.

Four-Cell Kit for 750 VA Units

The 24 VDC pack comfortably handles the load profile of compatible 750 VA rack-mount UPS models during typical power events. It runs out when the connected equipment exceeds the UPS rated capacity or when the cells reach end-of-life after three to five years of float service.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the RBC64-1U cartridge so I can confirm it fits my 1U rack UPS?

The cartridge measures 1.5 inches high by 8.25 inches wide by 12.25 inches deep, matching the 1U form factor of the compatible SMART750RM1U and SMX750RM1U models.

How do I install the pre-assembled battery set, and what is the common mistake to avoid?

Slide the cartridge into the UPS front panel and secure the retaining screws; the step often missed is ensuring the DC connector seats fully before tightening the screws.

When the batteries reach end of life, what should I do with the expired set?

Place the used 6V batteries back into the reusable packaging supplied with the cartridge and take the package to a certified recycling centre.
