1U 12-outlet rackmount PDU

This 1U rackmount power strip provides twelve right-angle outlets spaced to accept bulky transformers without blocking adjacent sockets. Six outlets sit on the front face and six on the rear for flexible cable routing. It mounts in standard 19-inch racks and carries a 15 A circuit breaker for overload protection.

Thermals noise and power draw

The unit operates passively with no fan, so it adds no audible noise to the rack environment. Power draw is limited to the connected load up to the 15 A rating at 120 V. The 15-foot cord with a 5-15P plug delivers power from a standard branch circuit without requiring additional wiring.

Replaces basic strips and tight-spaced PDUs

It upgrades from consumer power strips that lack rack ears, right-angle outlets or a built-in breaker. The jump is worth it when transformer-heavy gear such as wall-wart power supplies must sit side by side in a 1U space. It does not suit installations that need metered monitoring, switched outlets or input voltages other than 120 V.
