Wall-Mount 16U Open Frame Rack

The Tripp Lite SRWO16US is a wall-mount open frame rack that holds 16U of EIA-standard 19-inch equipment compatible with 2-post mounting. It is designed for network wiring closets, back offices and other secure areas where floor space is limited and a locked enclosure is not required. Heavy-duty steel construction with a black powder-coated finish provides durability in professional environments.

Capacity and Access

The rack accommodates equipment up to 22 inches deep and supports a maximum load of 150 pounds. Its hinged front swings open to the left or right, giving unrestricted rear access to cables and hardware for installation and servicing. The swinging frame can be secured in position to prevent movement while equipment is being installed or configured.

Upgrade From Floor-Standing Racks

This unit replaces freestanding racks when floor space is unavailable or when a secure locked cabinet is unnecessary. Keyhole mounting slots spaced 16 inches apart align with standard wall studs for direct attachment. The jump is worth it when you need to reclaim floor area in a wiring closet or small office while keeping 19-inch gear accessible and organized.
