Ten protected outlets with 3345-joule suppression, coaxial and telephone line safeguards, and an eight-foot right-angle cord
The Tripp Lite TLP1008TELTV delivers 10 NEMA 5-15R outlets protected by a 3345-joule AC suppression rating and a 150-volt RMS clamping voltage. An 8-foot cord with a right-angle plug reaches distant wall sockets while keeping the strip flush against furniture. Built-in RJ11 and coaxial jacks shield telephone, DSL and cable-modem lines from incoming transients.
The unit handles continuous loads up to 1800 watts at 120 volts with a 15-ampere output capacity. EMI and RFI filtering attenuates line noise by up to 40 decibels across the protected outlets. Three-mode protection — hot-neutral, neutral-ground and hot-ground — diverts residual energy during prolonged surge events rather than relying on a single clamping path.
It upgrades older six-outlet strips that offer only a few hundred joules and no data-line ports. The jump is worthwhile when a workstation, router and entertainment gear share one circuit and require both high energy absorption and RJ11 or coaxial safeguarding. Buyers needing more than 10 outlets or a higher joule rating should look at larger-capacity models.

The unit filters electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference up to 40 dB across its NEMA 5-15R outlets while delivering up to 1800 watts at 120 V.
You need a standard NEMA 5-15P wall receptacle for the right-angle input plug and an RJ11 telephone cable for the single DSL/fax protection jack.
Yes — the suppressor clamps transients at 150 V RMS across H-N, N-G and H-G modes, shielding legacy equipment connected to any of the ten outlets.
