Six-outlet surge protector with 990 joule suppression, 8-foot cord and flat plug safeguards computers and peripherals from spikes and line noise
Length 8 ft.
The Tripp Lite TLP608 is a six-outlet surge suppressor rated at 990 joules for 120 V AC circuits. It protects workstations, computers and telecom equipment from spikes and line noise. The 15 A circuit breaker guards against overloads while automatic shutoff cuts power if the protection circuit is compromised. Diagnostic LEDs confirm active suppression status.
Verify the wall receptacle supplies 120 V AC and accepts a NEMA 5-15P low-profile plug. Ensure total connected load stays within 1875 W and 15 A. The 8 ft cord length determines placement distance from the outlet. Keyhole mounting tabs require a suitable surface and hardware for wall or desk installation.
The cool grey housing measures 1.23" x 1.85" x 10.80" and weighs 1.12 lbs. Six 5-15R outlets accommodate transformer plugs without blocking adjacent sockets. Protection modes cover H-N, N-G and H-G with a 150 V RMS clamping voltage and up to 20 dB EMI/RFI filtering. Certifications include UL 1449 3rd Edition, UL 1363, UL 497A, FCC Part 68 and cUL.

Other versions of this model
The package contains the surge protector and an instruction manual with warranty information. It plugs directly into a standard 120V NEMA 5-15R wall outlet using its built-in 8-foot cord with a low-profile plug, so no separate cable or adapter is required.
The unit supports up to 15 amps and 1875 watts total across its six 5-15R outlets. Add the wattage of every device you plan to connect; if the sum stays below 1875 watts the strip will handle the load.
It indicates the total energy the suppressor can absorb before its protective components wear out. A 990-joule rating is suitable for desktop computers, monitors and networking gear, and the diagnostic LEDs will show when the protection circuit is still active.
