SKU CH-6DVV-BAQN1 MPN TLP610U30CLAMPB

Six NEMA 5-15R outlets and two USB-C ports delivering 30 W protect devices with 900 J surge suppression via a 10 ft braided cord and desk clamp

  • 6 protected outlets handle computers and peripherals with 900 J surge rating
  • Two USB-C ports share 30 W Power Delivery for fast device charging
  • Desk clamp mounts securely to free up surface space
  • 10 ft braided cord reaches distant outlets without tangling
  • Full three-line protection covers hot-neutral and common-mode surges

Six-outlet surge protection

The TLP610U30CLAMPB provides six NEMA 5-15R outlets rated at 120 V AC with a 900 joule surge protection rating. It defends connected electronics against power surges and spikes across all three wiring paths, including hot-neutral and common modes. One outlet is spaced to accommodate a bulky transformer without blocking adjacent sockets. A 10 ft braided cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug supplies power to the unit.

Sustained load handling

The unit supports a total connected load of 1875 VA across its six AC outlets. Two USB-C ports share a combined 30 W Power Delivery output for charging compatible devices such as laptops or tablets. The desk clamp secures the housing to a work surface, keeping outlets and cables accessible during continuous operation. Internal circuitry manages line noise suppression alongside surge diversion.

Protection and interface limits

Surge protection is capped at 900 joules, which defines the energy absorption limit before the protective components degrade. The USB-C ports do not exceed the shared 30 W Power Delivery budget, so devices requiring higher wattage will charge at a reduced rate or not at all. The NEMA 5-15P input plug restricts use to standard 120 V North American receptacles without an adapter.

Questions about this item

Does the 900-joule surge protector generate noticeable heat or noise when it is running all day?

The unit has no fan or moving parts, so it operates silently and produces no measurable heat during continuous use.

What must I already own for the 30 W USB-C Power Delivery ports to charge my device?

You need a device that accepts USB-C Power Delivery input and a compatible USB-C cable; the surge protector supplies up to 30 W across the two ports.

Will the NEMA 5-15P plug and 10 ft braided cord reach an older wall outlet behind a deep desk?

The 10 ft cord and desk clamp let you mount the strip at the desk edge, so the plug can reach a standard 120 V outlet even if it is set back.
