Seven NEMA 5-15R outlets plus USB-A and USB-C ports protect electronics with 900 joules of surge suppression at 120 V
The Tripp Lite TLP710BTEL provides seven NEMA 5-15R outlets and a 900-joule surge protection rating to safeguard computers, printers, routers and home-theatre equipment from spikes and line noise. It delivers 1800 VA capacity at 120 V and includes one USB Type-A and one USB Type-C port for charging mobile devices without a separate adapter.
Ensure the installation location has a standard NEMA 5-15R receptacle to accept the unit's NEMA 5-15P plug and that the circuit supplies 120 V power. Confirm the combined draw of connected equipment stays within the 1800 VA rating and check that the RJ11 pass-through jacks match the telephone or fax line type in use.
One outlet is positioned at the end of the strip so a bulky transformer can be plugged in without blocking the other six receptacles. Built-in RJ11 jacks (one in, one out) suppress surges on phone, modem or fax lines, extending protection beyond the AC outlets to connected communication equipment.
