Two computers share one USB 3.0 device

This Tripp Lite U359-002 switch lets two computers share a single USB 3.0 peripheral without unplugging cables. It suits offices or home setups where a printer, scanner or external drive must be accessed from both machines. The unit handles SuperSpeed data rates up to 5 Gbps. No software installation is required on either computer.

Push-button switching with LED indication

Press the button on the switch to move the peripheral from one computer to the other; an LED shows which port is active. The switch draws power from the USB bus so no external adapter is needed. Ensure both computers support USB 3.0 to reach full speed; older ports will fall back to lower rates. Buyers who need simultaneous access from both computers or who require more than two upstream ports should choose a different solution.
