Steel chain sprocket with 15 teeth, 1-inch bore, keyway and set screws for #40 roller chain
This TRITAN sprocket fits 40 chain pitch with a fixed 1-inch bore and keyway. It is intended for power-transmission builds that need a single-strand drive on a one-inch shaft.
The steel body carries a black oxide coating for corrosion resistance. Two set screws lock the hub to the shaft, and the 0.591-inch hub projection keeps the assembly compact.
The 15-tooth design yields a 2.405-inch pitch diameter and a 2.65-inch outside diameter. Buyers needing a different tooth count or bore size should select another sprocket.

Slide the sprocket onto the 1 in shaft, align the 1/4 in wide by 1/8 in deep keyway with the shaft key, then tighten both included set screws against the key and shaft flat; the step often missed is securing the second set screw.
Inspect the 15 teeth for hooking or uneven wear from the 1/2 in pitch chain; replace the sprocket when tooth profiles become pointed or the 2.65 in outside diameter shows measurable reduction.
The 0.591 in hub projection and 7/8 in length through bore concentrate heat, so tooth-surface temperature rise from friction becomes the limiting factor before the black-oxide finish degrades.
