Industrial Power-Transmission Sprocket

This Tritan sprocket is a finished-bore steel component built for ANSI 40 roller chain. It carries 26 hardened teeth on a 4.148 in pitch diameter and a 4.42 in outside diameter, with a 1 in bore that includes a 1/4 in wide by 1/8 in deep keyway and two set screws. The hub measures 3 3/4 in diameter and projects 0.716 in, giving a 1 in length through bore for secure shaft mounting.

Maintenance Teams Standardising on #40 Chain

The fixed bore and included keyway suit engineers who need a drop-in replacement on existing 1 in shafts without re-machining. Black-oxide finish resists corrosion in typical industrial environments. Buyers requiring a different bore size, a split-hub design, or a sprocket for multi-strand chain will need an alternative part.

26-Tooth Pitch Geometry Determines Speed Ratio

The 4.148 in pitch diameter fixes the driven-shaft speed relative to the driver sprocket on #40 chain. Verify that this tooth count delivers the required ratio before ordering, as no other pitch diameters or tooth counts are offered for this listing.
