Steel chain sprocket with 32 teeth for 40 chain, 1 in bore with keyway and set screws
This 32-tooth steel sprocket fits a 1-inch shaft and runs on #40 roller chain with a 1/2-inch pitch. The fixed bore includes a 1/4-inch wide by 1/8-inch deep keyway plus two set screws for positive drive. A black-oxide finish adds corrosion resistance in industrial and agricultural equipment.
The sprocket transmits mechanical power without electrical consumption or active cooling. Steel construction dissipates frictional heat through the hub and chain engagement during normal operation. No fan, motor or power supply is involved, so noise is limited to chain meshing and bearing contact.
Two set screws and the machined keyway are supplied, eliminating separate fastener sourcing. The 3 3/4-inch hub diameter and 0.716-inch projection determine shaft engagement length. Buyers needing a different bore size, tooth count or chain pitch cannot use this sprocket without modification.

Slide the sprocket onto the 1 in bore, align the 1/4 in wide by 1/8 in deep keyway with the shaft key, then tighten both included set screws against the key and shaft flat.
Inspect the 32 teeth regularly for hooking or uneven wear; replace the sprocket when tooth profiles no longer match the 1/2 in pitch chain.
The 5.38 in outside diameter and steel construction limit peripheral speed before vibration or heat becomes excessive.
