A 10-tooth steel sprocket for 50 chain with a 7/8 in bore, keyway, and set screws included
The Tritan 50BS10H is a finished-bore sprocket with a 7/8 inch bore, keyway and set screws included. It is designed for single-strand 50 chain drives in power-transmission applications. The steel body carries a black-oxide finish for corrosion resistance. Collectors of industrial hardware will also appreciate the original packaging and branding.
As a passive steel component the sprocket generates no noise, vibration or heat of its own. It adds negligible rotating mass to the shaft and imposes no electrical load on the system. Operating temperature and sound levels are determined entirely by the driven machinery and lubrication regime.
The critical dimension is the 7/8 inch fixed bore with a 3/16 inch keyway width and 3/32 inch depth, matched to a 10-tooth, 2.023 inch pitch diameter profile for 5/8 inch pitch chain. Buyers needing a different bore size, tooth count or chain pitch cannot use this part.

Slide the sprocket onto the 7/8 in shaft, engage the 3/16 in wide by 3/32 in deep keyway with the shaft key, then tighten both included set screws against the key and shaft flat to prevent rotation.
Inspect the 10 teeth for hooking or uneven wear, check the 1 9/16 in hub and 1 in bore length for looseness, and re-tighten the two set screws if vibration develops; replace when tooth profile no longer matches 50 chain pitch.
The 2.023 in pitch diameter on a 10-tooth sprocket creates high tooth loading and chordal action, so chain tension fatigue and accelerated tooth wear become the limiting factors before hub or bore strength is reached.
