Tritan 50BS17H Sprocket for 50 Chain

This sprocket fits 50 chain pitch and has 17 teeth with a 1 1/4 in finished bore. It includes a keyway and two set screws for secure shaft mounting. The black oxide finish protects the steel body in industrial drives.

Check bore, keyway and chain match

Verify your shaft diameter is exactly 1 1/4 in and that the keyway dimensions of 1/4 in width by 1/8 in depth suit your key. Confirm the drive uses single-strand 5/8 in pitch chain so the tooth profile engages correctly. Ensure the 2 11/16 in hub diameter and 0.657 in projection clear adjacent components.

Keyway and set screws simplify installation

The machined keyway prevents rotational slip under load without extra machining. Two included set screws lock the sprocket axially along the shaft. Black oxide coating adds mild corrosion resistance for longer service in power transmission systems.

Questions about this item

Does the sprocket arrive with the set screws already included, or do I need to order them separately?

The sprocket includes two set screws in the box; no separate purchase is required for them.

Which tooth count matches a 50 chain size and a 1 1/4 in bore for this model?

This model has 17 teeth, a 1 1/4 in bore and is made for 50 chain size.

What does the 3.72 in outside diameter mean when the sprocket is mounted on a shaft?

The 3.72 in outside diameter is the overall width of the sprocket, so allow at least that much clearance from adjacent parts when installed.
