Industrial Sprocket for 50 Chain

This new TRITAN sprocket is a finished-bore power-transmission component built for 50 pitch roller chain. The 18-tooth steel body carries a black-oxide finish and a 1 1/8 in bore with a 1/4 in by 1/8 in keyway for positive drive engagement.

Included Set Screws Secure the Hub

Two set screws are supplied with the sprocket, allowing immediate shaft locking without sourcing separate hardware. The one-sided hub projects 0.657 in and measures 2 7/8 in in diameter, keeping the assembly compact on the shaft.

18 Teeth Define the Speed Ratio

The 18-tooth count fixes the pitch diameter at 3.599 in and the outside diameter at 3.92 in, which determines the driven speed for a given chain pitch. Buyers needing a different ratio must select another tooth count.

Questions about this item

Will the 1/4 in keyway or the two set screws need periodic replacement on this 18-tooth sprocket?

The 1/4 in keyway and two set screws are integral to the fixed bore; inspect them during routine maintenance and replace only if wear or damage is found.

What is the first limit reached when this 50-chain sprocket runs continuously at load?

The 3.599 in pitch diameter and 1 in length through bore define the torque capacity; sustained loads beyond the steel rating will show as tooth or keyway wear first.

How much heat and noise does the black-oxide steel sprocket generate during all-day operation?

The 3.92 in outside diameter steel body runs warm to the touch under load but produces minimal noise; no forced cooling is required for normal power-transmission duty.
