Industrial sprocket for 50 chain

The Tritan 50BS20H is a 20-tooth steel sprocket built for single-strand 50 chain. It arrives new with a finished 1 1/4 in bore, a 1/4 in keyway and two set screws already included. Maintenance teams and machinery builders can bolt it on without additional machining.

Black-oxide finish resists wear

Black-oxide coating protects the steel teeth and hub during continuous operation. The 3 in hub diameter and .657 in projection keep the assembly compact while the fixed bore eliminates play under steady torque. Heat-treated teeth maintain pitch integrity over long duty cycles.

20 teeth on 50 pitch chain

This sprocket only fits applications that specify a 20-tooth, 50 chain size with a 1 1/4 in bore and keyway. Buyers who need a different tooth count, chain pitch or bore diameter must select another part.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the steel sprocket generate when running continuously?

The steel sprocket itself produces no heat; any temperature rise comes from chain friction and bearing load in your drive system.

What shaft size and keyway dimensions are needed to mount this 20-tooth sprocket?

It requires a 1 1/4 in shaft with a 1/4 in wide by 1/8 in deep keyway, plus two set screws for locking.

Will the 4.32 in outside diameter clear the guards on my older 50-chain drive?

The 4.32 in outside diameter and 3 in hub match standard 50-chain geometry, so it fits existing guards designed for that pitch.
