60 Chain 15-Tooth Sprocket

The Tritan 60BS15H is a finished-bore steel sprocket with 15 teeth for ANSI 60 roller chain. It suits maintenance teams and OEM builders replacing a worn drive component on conveyors, agricultural equipment or industrial machinery.

Verify Shaft and Keyway Dimensions

Confirm the shaft measures exactly 1 1/2 in diameter and that the existing keyway matches a 3/8 in width by 3/16 in depth. The hub projection is .791 in and the length through bore is 1 1/4 in, so ensure adequate axial space on the shaft.

Steel Construction With Black Oxide Finish

The carbon-steel body receives a black oxide coating for corrosion resistance in normal indoor or sheltered outdoor use. Two set screws lock the hub to the shaft, and the fixed bore eliminates backlash during start-stop cycles.

Questions about this item

Does the sprocket arrive with the two set screws already included or must I source them separately?

The sprocket includes two set screws in the package so no separate purchase is needed for them.

How do I decide between the 15-tooth and 16-tooth versions for my 60 chain drive?

Choose the 15-tooth model when you need the 3.608 in pitch diameter and 3.98 in outside diameter listed for this sprocket.

What does the 3.608 in pitch diameter mean when the sprocket is mounted on a 1 1/2 in shaft?

It defines the effective radius where the 3/4 in pitch chain engages, giving a fixed speed ratio based on 15 teeth.
