Industrial Sprocket for #60 Chain

This finished-bore sprocket is built for single-strand #60 roller chain in power-transmission drives. It fits a 1 3/16 inch shaft with a 1/4 inch wide by 1/8 inch deep keyway and two set screws for positive locking.

Chain Pitch and Tooth Count Limits

The 3/4 inch chain pitch and fifteen teeth fix the pitch diameter at 3.608 inches and the outside diameter at 3.98 inches. These dimensions determine the speed ratio and the minimum wrap radius the drive can accommodate.

Bore and Keyway Fit Decide Compatibility

The 1 3/16 inch bore with the specified keyway width and depth is the single specification that confirms whether this sprocket matches the driven shaft. Verify shaft diameter and key dimensions before ordering.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 15-tooth version or a different tooth count?

Choose the 15-tooth version when your drive ratio calls for a 3.608 in pitch diameter and 3.98 in outside diameter on 60 chain.

What does the 3.608 in pitch diameter mean once the sprocket is mounted?

It sets the effective drive radius so chain speed and torque match the 60 chain pitch at the rated 15-tooth engagement.

How does the 60 chain standard limit what this sprocket can handle?

The 3/4 in chain pitch and single-strand design fix the maximum working load to the ANSI 60 series rating for steel sprockets.
