The Tritan 80BS11H is a single-strand sprocket with an 11-tooth profile and a 1 1/2 inch finished bore. It is supplied new for buyers maintaining or assembling power-transmission drives that use 80 chain pitch. The steel body carries a black-oxide finish and includes a 3/8 inch wide by 3/16 inch deep keyway plus two set screws for positive shaft locking.

Black-oxide steel runs without added lubrication

The black-oxide coating provides a degree of corrosion resistance and helps the sprocket operate cleanly in normal service. With a 3.55 inch pitch diameter and 4.01 inch outside diameter, the tooth form meshes smoothly with 80 chain, keeping vibration and noise low during routine power transfer. The 1.05 inch hub projection and 2 13/16 inch hub diameter keep the assembly compact on the shaft.

Fixed-bore design limits sustained overloads

Because the bore is fixed at 1 1/2 inches with a standard keyway, the sprocket cannot be re-bored for larger shafts if loading increases. Under continuous heavy torque the black-oxide surface and set-screw retention rely on proper installation torque; the 1 5/8 inch length through bore gives adequate bearing contact but offers no provision for additional cooling or lubrication channels.
