A four-bolt flange bearing with a 1-3/4" cylindrical bore and double-sealed radial ball insert for fixed mounting
The Tritan HCFU209-28 is a four-bolt flange bearing unit designed for power transmission applications. It features a cast iron square housing with a 1-3/4 inch cylindrical bore and a double-sealed radial ball insert made from alloy steel.
This bearing suits installations where a fixed, non-expansion housing is required and operating temperatures stay between -40 and 250 degrees Fahrenheit. It is not for applications needing floating or expansion-type housings to accommodate axial shaft growth.
The unit arrives ready to install and handles radial loads within the capacity of the included HC209-28 insert. It runs out of headroom when temperatures exceed the 250 degree Fahrenheit maximum or when shaft movement demands an expansion bearing style.

The cylindrical bore accepts a 1-3/4 inch shaft directly, so no adapter sleeve is required for that size.
Yes, the housing has four mount holes on a 4 9/64 inch centre-to-centre height that aligns with that pattern.
Turn the shaft by hand; it should spin smoothly without binding, and the NLGI #2 equivalent grease should show no leakage past the seals.
