  • Product typeRemote Trainers
  • Safer vibration mode protects your dog
  • 800 metre remote range for outdoor training
  • IP67 waterproof collar works in rain
  • 300 mAh battery gives long standby time
  • Remote lasts 180 days on standby

Safer training without stimulation

The TROPRO remote trainer uses vibration and beep modes instead of static correction, giving owners a way to redirect behaviour while reducing the risk of discomfort. Adjustable nylon strap fits dogs over three months old across small, medium and large breeds.

Range and waterproof limits

Remote control reaches 800 metres in open areas, but the handheld unit is only splash resistant at IP65 while the receiver collar is rated IP67 for full immersion. Charging port on the collar must stay sealed during wet use.

Battery life and standby headroom

A 300 h lithium cell powers the receiver, with smart sleep modes extending remote standby to 180 days and collar standby to 60 days. Heavy daily training sessions will drain capacity faster than the quoted maximums.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 800 m or 3000 ft range version?

They are the same specification — 800 metres equals roughly 3000 feet — so there is no separate version to pick.

What does the 300 h battery figure mean for daily use?

The receiver runs up to 300 hours on a charge; with smart power saving it can stay on standby for 60 days, while the remote lasts up to 180 days on standby.

How does the IP67 rating limit where I can use the collar?

The collar itself is IP67 waterproof for rain or water training, but the remote is only splash-proof, so keep the remote out of submersion and seal the collar's charging port during use.
