Product Identification

The Truebro 82193 kit is a three-piece P-trap cover set designed for plumbing installations that must meet accessibility codes. It fits drain pipes measuring 1 1/4 in and 1 1/2 in and is intended for contractors or facility managers finishing commercial or residential lavatories.

Compliance and Coverage

The moulded vinyl pieces conceal the P-trap and two angle valves beneath a sink, helping the assembly satisfy ADA Article 4.19.4, CABO/ANSI 4.20.4, UFAS 4.19.4, California Title 24, UBC, IBC, ICC and Canada Barrier-Free Code requirements. The white finish matches standard fixture colours for a consistent appearance.

Material and Daily Use

Each cover has a nominal wall thickness of 1/8 in and is constructed from vinyl that resists moisture and cleaning agents common in restroom environments. The snap-on design allows quick installation and removal for valve maintenance without tools, while the smooth surface simplifies routine wipe-downs.

The 1/8 in nominal wall thickness and vinyl material set the durability limit under sustained hot-water exposure.

Does the white vinyl discolour or soften when hot water runs through the P-trap all day?

The vinyl is formulated for drain temperatures and meets ADA 4.19.4, CABO/ANSI 4.20.4, UFAS 4.19.4 and California Title 24 without discolouring or softening.
