Silicone Hot Handle Cover Red 5.5

This set includes a main handle cover and an assist pan holder made from heat-resistant silicone. They fit cast iron skillets and traditional pots with a 5.5 inch handle. The material withstands temperatures from -104 °F to 464 °F. Both pieces are dishwasher safe for simple cleaning.

Replaces Cloth Mitts and Loose Grips

The covers replace fabric pot holders that can slip or wear thin. They are worth adding when you regularly move hot cast iron and want a secure, fixed grip on both the main and helper handles. Do not use them near open flames or leave them on cookware while heating.

Slip-On Fit With Dishwasher Cleanup

Installation is a simple push onto the 5.5 inch handle; the 1.96 inch width matches the listed dimension. The flexible silicone stores flat in a drawer. The most common error is leaving the cover on the pan during heating, which the manufacturer warns against.
