Gaming Keyboard with Cherry MX Blue Switches

The TT Premium X1 is a wired USB keyboard built around Cherry MX RGB Blue mechanical switches. It includes a detachable magnetic wrist rest and dedicated volume, mute and multimedia controls. Red keycaps for Q, W, E, R, A, S, D, F and a keycap puller are supplied in the box.

Sustained Use and Lighting Behaviour

Cherry MX Blue switches provide a tactile bump and audible click on every keystroke, which remains consistent during long typing or gaming sessions. The keyboard offers 16.8M true RGB illumination with 12 dynamic lighting effects that can run continuously without performance change. TT RGB Sync compatibility allows colour coordination with supported Thermaltake power supplies and liquid cooling components.

USB Interface and Ecosystem Limits

The keyboard connects via a standard USB wired interface for broad system compatibility. Full RGB synchronisation and the smartphone app with voice-controlled AI and Virtual Game Controller mode require Thermaltake hardware carrying the TT RGB Sync logo. Patent applications 107200205 and 107200206 cover the app and lighting integration features.

Questions about this item

How much power does the USB-wired keyboard draw during all-day use?

It connects via a standard USB cable and has no separate power adapter, so it draws only the bus power a typical mechanical keyboard requires.

What must I already own to use the dedicated volume knob and multimedia keys?

A Windows or macOS system with a free USB port — the controls work through the standard HID driver without extra software.

Will the Cherry MX RGB Blue switches and TT RGB Sync lighting work with my older Thermaltake Riing fans?

Yes, the keyboard uses TT RGB Sync, so it can synchronise lighting with any Thermaltake product that carries the TT RGB Sync logo, including older Riing Plus fans.
