A tilt-shift prime offering 50mm focal length, f/1.4 maximum aperture and ±8° tilt control for selective focus effects on Sony E-mount bodies
The TTArtisan Tilt 50mm f/1.4 is a full-frame manual lens with a built-in tilt mechanism for Sony E-mount cameras. It covers both full-frame and APS-C bodies and offers a 45-degree angle of view. The maximum aperture is f/1.4 and the minimum is f/16. It focuses down to .5 metres and uses 62mm filters.
A conventional 50mm lens keeps the focal plane parallel to the sensor. This lens adds up to eight degrees of tilt so the plane of focus can be angled to match a subject or to create a miniature effect. When the tilt angle is set to zero it behaves like a standard fast 50mm. The jump is worth it when you need selective focus across a non-flat subject or want the toy-look aesthetic without post-processing.
The lens suits photographers who want to experiment with Scheimpflug control or miniature-style rendering on Sony E-mount. It is not for shooters who need autofocus, electronic aperture communication or weather sealing. Buyers who require precise shift movements for architectural correction should look at a dedicated tilt-shift optic instead.

The lens has a 62 mm front thread so standard 62 mm filters and most matte boxes that accept that diameter will fit without vignetting at the 45° angle of view.
Loosen the tilt lock ring, tilt the barrel up to ±8°, then tighten the same ring until it holds; the rotation lock beside it secures the tilt axis orientation.
Replace it whenever the glass shows scratches, coating wear or stubborn residue that cleaning cannot remove, otherwise the 7-element 6-group optics stay sealed inside.
