Satin Chrome Mortise Lock Strike Plate

This mortise lock strike plate provides a reinforced receiving point for a mortise latch or bolt in residential or light commercial doors. The satin chrome 26D finish resists wear and matches common hardware trims. It is supplied with mounting screws for immediate fitting.

Installation and Common Issues

The plate mounts with the supplied screws into a prepared mortise pocket; alignment of the 4-1/8" hole centres with the existing frame preparation is critical. Misalignment can prevent the latch from engaging fully or cause binding. The large hole and lip accommodate deeper bolt throws, but frames without a matching cut-out will require modification.
