96% Wireless Mechanical Keyboard

The TUKO 96% wireless mechanical keyboard uses a full aluminium body with double-gasket construction and a programmable knob. It connects to up to three devices via Bluetooth 5.1 and supports QMK or VIA remapping on macOS, Windows and Linux. Hot-swappable sockets and KSA double-shot PBT keycaps let users modify the typing feel without soldering.

Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

This keyboard suits enthusiasts who want a dense 96% layout, open-source programmability and a metal chassis for daily typing or gaming. It is not for buyers who need a dedicated numpad cluster or a smaller footprint. It is also not for users who require wired-only latency or a polling rate above 1000 Hz.

Deciding specification — Bluetooth 5.1

The single specification that decides fit is Bluetooth 5.1 support for three simultaneous device connections. If a workflow demands more than three paired hosts or a different wireless protocol, this unit will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

What case clearance does the 96% aluminum body need on a desk?

The full aluminum 96% layout fits a standard keyboard footprint; allow a few centimetres at the rear for the USB-C cable when used in wired mode.

How do I flash a new keymap to the QMK/VIA knob and keys?

Connect the keyboard via USB-C, open VIA on macOS, Windows or Linux, edit the key or knob assignments, then save; the mapping works wirelessly afterward.

Which parts wear out first and can be swapped without soldering?

The hot-swappable K Pro Banana switches and KSA double-shot PBT keycaps are user-replaceable; screw-in stabilisers can also be removed for lubrication or replacement.
