The TUKO AK820 is an 82-key mechanical keyboard with a 75 percent layout that frees up desk room for mouse movement. It supports both three-pin and five-pin switches and arrives with factory-pre-lubricated switches for immediate use. The wired USB Type-C connection provides plug-and-play operation without extra software.

Gasket Mount with Five-Layer Dampening

A gasket-mounted structure pairs a Flex-cut PC plate with five sound-dampening layers including Poron sandwich cotton, IXPE under-axis pad, PET premium sound pad and bottom cotton. The 1.2 mm PCB and PC positioning slots add resilience and a softer, more elastic typing feel. RGB backlighting offers 1.6 million colours controllable via Fn shortcuts or driver software.

Questions about this item

How often will the pre-lubricated hot-swap switches need re-lubrication or replacement?

The factory pre-lubricated switches are ready to use immediately. Hot-swap sockets allow switch replacement without soldering when wear or preference changes.

What limits continuous typing comfort on the 1.2 mm gasket-mounted PCB?

The 1.2 mm PCB with Flex-cut PC plate and five sound-damping layers optimises resilience, so fatigue from bottom-out harshness appears before structural limits.

Does the RGB backlight or detachable Type-C cable add noticeable heat or power draw during all-day use?

Wired Type-C operation draws minimal power; RGB brightness is adjustable via Fn keys or driver, keeping heat and consumption low for extended sessions.
