59-Inch Grey Velvet Chesterfield

This 59-inch modern Chesterfield sofa seats two people in grey velvet. The classic tufted backrest and nailhead-trimmed arms suit living rooms, bedrooms, apartments or offices. A solid wood frame underpins the piece, and two removable cushions complete the set. It arrives new and ready to assemble.

Tufted Backrest and Spring Support

The curved spring structure beneath foam cushions distributes weight evenly during extended sitting sessions. Tufted buttons on the backrest and armrests hold padding in place, preventing the shifting that creates pressure points over time. The low backrest allows airflow around the upper body, limiting heat build-up during long periods of use. Solid wood framing resists frame flex that can develop with daily loading.

Removable Cushions and Clearance Checks

All cushions lift off for straightforward fabric cleaning without special tools. Nailheads are applied individually, so rough handling during moves can dislodge them; lift from the frame rather than the arms. Verify doorway widths against the 59-inch overall width before delivery, as the rigid frame does not compress. Seat height of 17 inches and seat depth of 24 inches determine whether existing throw pillows or blankets will fit proportionally.

Questions about this item

Will the low tufted backrest and removable cushions keep the sofa from feeling hot during all-day use?

The tufted low backrest is designed to provide breathing room while you relax and limits heat production, and all cushions are removable for easy cleaning.

Does the solid-wood frame arrive fully assembled or will I need tools to put it together?

Assembly details are not included in the product specifications.

Can I pair this 59-inch Chesterfield with my existing 24-inch deep accent chairs without the seating heights clashing?

The sofa seat height is 17 inches and seat depth is 24 inches, so the depth matches your chairs while the height sits lower than standard chair seats.
