Questions about this item

How do I assemble the lift-top coffee table, and which step causes the most trouble?

Attach the four reinforced metallic legs to the particle-board frame using the supplied hardware; the step most often done wrong is tightening all bolts fully before the top is level, which leaves the lift mechanism misaligned.

What upkeep will the lift-top mechanism and particle-board finish need over time?

Wipe the Espresso finish with a dry or slightly damp cloth; lubricate the metal lift hinges once a year with light machine oil to keep the motion smooth.

What limit shows up first when the lifted top is used daily as a desk?

The particle-board shelf and lift frame will show deflection first if heavy monitors or books are left on the raised surface for long periods.
