Statement Headboard Height

The tuphen Carmen is a king-size upholstered wingback bed finished in ivory boucle fabric. Its 52.3-inch tall headboard creates a strong visual anchor for a master bedroom. The curved wingback design offers a supportive backrest for reading or relaxing in bed. A metal frame underneath provides structural rigidity and quiet operation.

Platform Support Limits

No box spring is required because wooden slats span the metal base to support the mattress directly. The foundation is tested to hold up to 1000 lbs of combined weight. This fixed slat system suits most standard mattress types but does not offer adjustable firmness or articulation. Buyers needing under-bed storage drawers or a motorised base should consider a different frame style.

Boucle Upholstery & Assembly

The soft boucle fabric adds texture and a neutral tone that coordinates with varied decor schemes. All hardware, tools and a ratcheting wrench ship in a single box to protect parts during transit. Two adults can assemble the frame in roughly 30 minutes using the included instructions or an online video guide. The all-in-one packaging simplifies delivery into tight stairwells or hallways.
