tuphen Convertible Floor Sofa Bed Chenille Light Grey

Convertible Floor Sofa Bed

The tuphen convertible floor sofa bed switches between a low-profile sofa and a flat mattress by folding the side armrests or backrest. Chenille fabric covers the contact surfaces, offering a soft, breathable feel with high abrasion resistance. High-density sponge padding provides resilient support that resists deformation over time. The light grey finish suits living rooms or bedrooms where space is limited.

Renters and small-space dwellers

This piece suits renters, students or anyone furnishing a compact room who need occasional sleeping space without a permanent bed frame. It works as a daily seat and a guest mattress in one footprint. Buyers who want a raised bed height, a rigid frame or a mechanism that locks into multiple recline angles should look elsewhere. Households needing seating for more than two people at once will find the single-unit scale restrictive.

Included pillow and armrest support

A matching pillow is supplied and doubles as back support or an armrest when the unit is in sofa mode. The pillow attaches to the folded section to stabilise the backrest and improve seated comfort. No tools, assembly hardware or additional covers are required. The chenille cover is spot-clean friendly, so the pillow and main upholstery stay presentable with minimal effort.
