Full-over-full bunk bed with slide

This full-over-full bunk bed fits two full-size mattresses in a single footprint, freeing floor space for other bedroom furniture. Integrated shelves add storage for books, toys or night-time essentials. A built-in slide turns the upper bunk into a playful exit for children. The frame uses solid pine and MDF with pine legs for a sturdy, durable structure.

Pre-purchase checks for your room

Measure ceiling height to ensure safe clearance above the upper bunk guardrail. Verify the floor area accommodates the bed footprint plus the slide projection. Confirm you have two full-size mattresses ready, as the included slat kit supports them without box springs. Assembly is required, so set aside time and basic tools for construction.

Upgrade from twin bunks or loft beds

Families moving up from twin-over-twin bunks gain wider sleep surfaces for growing children without expanding the room layout. Households replacing a loft bed with a desk underneath regain a second full sleep space while keeping the storage shelves. The jump is worth it when two sleepers need full-width mattresses and the room can absorb the slide's extra depth.

Questions about this item

Does the tuphen Full over Full Bunk Bed ship with mattresses or do I need to buy two full-size mattresses separately?

The package includes the pine and MDF frame, ladder, slide, shelves, full-length guardrail and a slat kit; two full-size mattresses must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the slide version or a standard ladder-only model for my child's room?

This model comes with a built-in slide plus a ladder, offering both playful access and a regular climb; if you prefer a simpler ladder-only design, you would need a different product.

What does the full-length guardrail on the upper bunk mean for everyday safety?

The guardrail runs the entire length of the top bunk, preventing roll-out during sleep, while the lower bunk has both headboard and footboard for added security.
