Full Size Upholstered Bed with Trundle

This tuphen platform bed combines a full size frame with a pull out twin trundle, built from solid pine wood and MDF. The upholstered white finish and Berber Fleece headboard add a soft touch to guest rooms or children's bedrooms. Assembly is required but uses pre drilled holes and a step by step manual for straightforward setup. It suits households needing flexible sleeping space without a box spring.

Solid Pine Frame Under Daily Use

The solid pine and MDF construction delivers consistent support for mattresses on both the main platform and the trundle. Wood slats prevent mattress shift and distribute weight evenly across the frame during nightly use. The trundle rolls out from either side on its own supports, maintaining stability when occupied. This structure avoids the sagging that can appear with lighter duty frames over time.

Replaces Separate Bed and Guest Mattress

This unit removes the need for a separate guest bed and a box spring on the main frame. The jump is worth it when a room must serve as both a primary bedroom and occasional guest space. Buyers who need a king size sleeping surface or a trundle that matches the full size height will not find those dimensions here.

Questions about this item

Does the solid pine and MDF frame creak or sag after months of daily use?

The solid pine wood and MDF construction is designed for high load capacity and durability, so the frame remains stable without creaking or sagging under normal daily use.

Do I need to buy a box spring or any special foundation for the mattress?

No box spring is required because the built-in wood slats support the mattress directly and prevent it from sliding.

Can the trundle be pulled out from either side if the bed sits against a wall?

Yes, the twin-size trundle can be pulled away from either side of the bed, so you can access it even when one side is against a wall.
