Grey Velvet Nightstand with Two Drawers

This nightstand is a bedside table finished in grey velvet over a medium-density fibreboard frame. It measures 21 inches wide, 16 inches deep and 22 inches high. The piece ships as a single unit and requires assembly before use. It suits bedrooms needing compact closed storage beside the bed.

Practical Limits of Particle Board

The structure uses particle board and foam beneath the fabric, so the surface resists light wear but can mark if liquids are left standing. Drawers slide on basic runners rather than soft-close hardware, limiting load per drawer. The plastic-tempered legs support the stated footprint but are not adjustable for uneven floors.

Assembly and Common Issues

Assembly is straightforward with included hardware, yet the pre-drilled holes in particle board can strip if bolts are over-tightened. Velvet shows pressure marks until the pile relaxes, and the grey fabric highlights lint or pet hair. Align the drawer fronts during build to avoid uneven gaps that cannot be corrected later.
