King wingback bed with 53.1" headboard

The tuphen Hosford bed is a king-size upholstered platform frame finished in cream-white boucle fabric. A 53.1" tall wingback headboard and matching footboard create a strong visual anchor for the bedroom. A metal frame and wooden slats support the mattress directly, removing the need for a box spring. The unit ships in a single box and assembles in roughly 30 minutes with the included ratcheting wrench.

Sleepers wanting tall headboard and quiet frame

This bed suits anyone who wants a high, fully upholstered headboard for reading or lounging and a silent, squeak-free metal foundation rated to 1000 lbs. It is not for buyers who need under-bed storage drawers, a lower-profile silhouette, or a frame that arrives fully assembled.

53.1" headboard height defines the silhouette

The 53.1" headboard height is the single measurement that decides whether this bed fits the room and the desired aesthetic. Confirm ceiling clearance and wall space before ordering, as no lower headboard option is offered for this model.

Questions about this item

Does the bed include the slats and metal frame, or do I need to supply a separate box spring or foundation?

The bed ships with a metal frame and wooden slats that together support up to 1000 lbs, so no box spring or extra foundation is required.

Will my existing king-size mattress fit the 53.1" headboard height without looking too low?

The 53.1" tall headboard is designed for standard king mattresses and provides a strong visual presence regardless of mattress thickness.

How can I confirm the frame is assembled correctly and ready for nightly use?

After following the included instructions and using the supplied ratcheting wrench, check that all bolts are snug, the slats sit evenly on the metal rails, and the bed feels solid with no movement when pressed.
