Queen bed with 53.1" headboard

The tuphen Hosford bed is a queen-size platform frame with a 53.1-inch high wingback headboard fully wrapped in cream white boucle-style fabric. A metal frame reinforces the structure and wooden slats eliminate the need for a box spring. Assembly is required and estimated at 30 minutes for two adults using the included ratcheting wrench. All parts ship in a single box.

Who this suits and who it does not

This bed suits adults who want a tall, fully upholstered statement piece with a neutral cream finish and a quiet, sturdy foundation tested to 1000 lbs. It is not for buyers who need a low-profile frame, a non-upholstered look, or a bed that fits spaces with limited vertical clearance. It also does not suit those who prefer a mattress-only foundation without a headboard.

Deciding specification: 53.1-inch headboard height

The 53.1-inch headboard height is the single measurement that determines whether this bed fits the room and matches the intended aesthetic. A taller headboard dominates the wall visually and requires sufficient ceiling and wall space. If the room cannot accommodate that height, a different frame should be considered.

Questions about this item

Does the frame come with all the tools and hardware I need to put it together?

Yes, the all-in-one box includes every piece of hardware and a ratcheting wrench so two adults can assemble it in about 30 minutes.

Will my existing Queen mattress sit properly on the wooden slats without a box spring?

The metal frame and wooden slats are designed to support a mattress directly and are tested to hold up to 1000 lbs, so no box spring is required.

How can I confirm the headboard height matches the 53.1 inch specification once the bed is assembled?

Measure from the floor to the top of the headboard; it should read 53.1 inches when the frame is fully built on a level surface.
