Lift Top with Concealed Storage

The tuphen occasional table features a lift-top mechanism that reveals hidden storage beneath the surface. This design keeps everyday items out of sight while maintaining a clean living-room aesthetic. It suits anyone needing discreet organisation in a compact footprint.

Casters with Smart Locking Mechanism

Four integrated wheels allow the table to be moved across the room without lifting heavy particle-board furniture. Each caster includes a locking function that secures the unit firmly in place once positioned. The system prevents unwanted rolling on hard floors or low-pile carpet.

Top Surface Dimensions 21.6 by 19.6 Inches

The rectangular top measures 21.6 inches wide by 19.6 inches deep, providing a defined area for drinks, remotes or a laptop. Buyers who require a larger working or dining surface will find this footprint restrictive. The open side-to-side shelf adds display space without increasing the overall plan dimensions.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the particle-board top generate when the lift mechanism stays open all day?

The table has no powered components, so it produces no heat regardless of how long the lift top remains raised.

What tools or hardware must I already own to assemble the casters and locking mechanism?

The package includes all required fasteners; only a basic Phillips screwdriver is needed to attach the four locking casters.

Will the 21.6-inch-wide lift surface stay level if I place a heavy CRT monitor on the open shelf below?

The particle-board shelf and locking casters are designed to support typical living-room loads; the lift top remains stable when the lock is engaged.
