Space-Saving Queen Murphy Bed

The tuphen Queen Size Murphy Bed folds vertically into a cabinet to reclaim floor space in a guest room, studio or home office. Integrated side wardrobe, top shelf and two drawers keep clothing and linens organised without extra furniture. The grey MDF and LVL finish suits neutral decor schemes. Assembly is required using the supplied instructions and hardware.

Clearance and Wall Check

Verify that the room provides at least 117.5 inches of horizontal clearance when the bed is lowered and 87.8 inches of vertical clearance for the cabinet height. The unit projects 65 inches from the wall as a bed and 15.7 inches when folded, so confirm door swing and furniture placement allow both positions. Ensure the mounting surface can support the assembled frame and a queen mattress, which is not included.

Replaces Separate Bed and Storage

This system replaces a standalone queen bed plus a separate wardrobe or chest of drawers, consolidating sleep and storage in one footprint. The jump is worthwhile when a room must serve dual purposes — such as a home office by day and guest bedroom by night — and when the customisable left or right wardrobe layout matches the room's traffic flow.
