Contemporary Accent Table

The tuphen accent table combines a square stone-like travertine top with a matte black iron base. Its unconventional skewed design mounts each tabletop side centrally to the base, creating an asymmetrical silhouette suited to modern living rooms or entryways.

Surface Capacity and Stability

The square travertine surface provides a stable platform for lamps, books, or decorative objects in everyday use. The stone-like material resists minor spills and heat from cups, though heavy or concentrated loads may stress the central mounting points.

Material and Assembly Limits

The iron base with matte black finish delivers structural support while contrasting the neutral top. The asymmetrical mounting relies on a single central attachment, so the table is not designed for leaning pressure or uneven weight distribution across the surface.

Questions about this item

Will the iron base and stone-like travertine top scratch my existing hardwood floor?

The iron base has a matte black finish; use felt pads under the contact points to protect hardwood from the metal frame and the square stone-like tabletop.

How can I verify the asymmetrical skewed base is assembled correctly?

Check that each corner of the square travertine top mounts securely to the central iron column and that the base sits flat without wobble.

Does the package include floor protectors or assembly hardware for the matte black iron base?

The box contains the travertine top, iron base, and mounting hardware; floor protectors are not included and must be purchased separately.
