Twin daybed with trundle

This new tuphen daybed combines a twin-size frame with a matching pull-out trundle, giving two 75 by 39 inch sleeping surfaces in a single grey upholstered piece. The tufted back and waved arms with nailhead trim suit living rooms, guest rooms or compact flats where occasional extra sleep space is needed. A eucalyptus and MDF frame supports up to 300 lbs across both levels.

Check room dimensions and mattress plans

The assembled unit measures 80.5 by 44.5 by 33.5 inches, so verify doorway clearance and floor space before ordering. No mattress is included for either the daybed or the trundle; you will need two twin-size mattresses no thicker than the trundle cavity allows. The trundle rolls on casters, so confirm your flooring tolerates repeated wheel movement.

Trundle and fabric change daily use

The hidden trundle on casters converts the sofa into a second bed without permanent floor space loss, ideal for sleepovers or visiting family. Polyester upholstery resists heat build-up during long sitting sessions, while foam-padded sides and back add lumbar support. Nailhead detailing on the arms is purely decorative and does not affect function.

Questions about this item

Does the daybed arrive with mattresses or do I need to buy twin mattresses separately?

No mattress is included with the daybed or the pull-out trundle; you will need to purchase two twin-size mattresses measuring 75 by 39 inches each.

The daybed and trundle are both listed as 75 by 39 inches — which mattress thickness works for both?

Both the daybed and the trundle share the same 75 by 39 inch sleep surface, so any twin mattress that fits those dimensions will work on either level.

With a 300 lb weight limit, can two adults sleep on the daybed and trundle at the same time?

The frame is rated for a maximum of 300 lbs total, so combined occupant weight on the daybed and trundle should not exceed that figure.
