Solid pine platform bed

The tuphen platform bed uses a white-finished pine frame with a 42 inch paneled headboard and a 26.3 inch footboard. Ten solid wood slats provide even support across the full-size sleeping surface. The design eliminates the need for a separate box spring. Assembly is required and all parts arrive in a single package.

Build integration and space

The slat system rests on four center support legs plus the side rails, freeing under-bed clearance for storage bins or drawers. Thick side planks add lateral rigidity so the frame stays stable on uneven floors. A mattress at least 6 inches thick is recommended to sit properly within the rail height.

Upgrade path and limits

This bed replaces a traditional metal frame and box spring combination for sleepers who want a lower profile and simpler setup.
