Turtle Beach Vulcan II Max Keyboard

The Turtle Beach Vulcan II Max is a full-size optical-mechanical gaming keyboard built around Titan II smooth linear switches. It is designed for players who want rapid, consistent actuation and a clean white aesthetic. The board includes a translucent detachable palm rest and an aluminium top plate for rigidity. Five on-board profiles let you keep personal settings without relying on software.

Thermals Noise Power

Optical switches generate minimal heat during extended sessions, keeping the chassis cool to the touch. The pre-lubed stabilizers reduce rattle, so each keystroke sounds clean rather than plasticky. Power draw is limited to the USB connection, requiring no external adapter. The dedicated media controls let you adjust volume instantly without leaving your game.

Build Fit Requirements

The keyboard connects via a single USB cable and stores up to five profiles internally, freeing you from driver dependence at LAN events. The 24 Smart Keys with individual LEDs show secondary functions at a glance, while Easy-Shift[+] adds a full second layer without extra macros. Builders who need a compact form factor or wireless freedom should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the translucent palm rest and which orientation is correct?

The palm rest snaps magnetically onto the bottom edge of the keyboard; align the translucent bar so the light strip faces the keycaps and press down until it clicks.

When will the Titan II optical switches need replacement and how can I tell?

Rated for 200 million keystrokes per switch; replace a key when its actuation feels inconsistent or the dedicated LED on a Smart Key no longer lights for secondary functions.

How many on-board profiles can I save before I run out of space?

The keyboard stores up to 5 user profiles internally, so the sixth profile you create will overwrite the oldest unless you back it up elsewhere.
