Product identity

The TVTime Direct 5092 is a two-piece pet grooming set designed for dogs and cats. Each tool combines a styling comb with a dual-sided trimming edge that uses two razors for shortening, shaping and thinning coats.

Who it suits and who it does not

Owners looking for a quiet, non-electric trimmer that will not frighten nervous animals will find this set practical. It is not intended for de-tangling curly or long hair, so buyers who need a de-matting tool should look elsewhere.

Behaviour under sustained use

Because the trimmers are entirely manual, performance does not change with prolonged sessions — there is no motor to overheat or battery to drain. Results depend on keeping the coat free of tangles before each pass to avoid pulling.

Questions about this item

Does the TVTime Direct 5092 set require any additional tools to operate?

No, the trimmer combs are hand-operated and need no batteries, power cords or separate blades to function.

Can I use these combs on a pet that already has a de-shedding brush or clipper?

Yes, they work alongside existing brushes or electric clippers for finishing touches once the coat is tangle-free.

How do I know the razor side is trimming correctly after I start grooming?

You will see hair collecting on the comb teeth and feel a smooth, even cut without pulling when the coat was brushed out first.
