Smart blind motor for horizontal louvers

The SwitchBot Blind Tilt motorises existing horizontal blinds that use a tilt rod between 6.2 mm and 10.2 mm or 12 mm. It suits renters or owners who want automated light control without replacing the whole window treatment. Vertical blinds, roller shades and curved top frames are not supported. The white plastic unit measures 1.9"W x 8.3"H and mounts outside the frame.

Solar charging and hub dependency

A 2000 mAh lithium battery is charged by the included solar panel, removing the need for mains wiring. Bluetooth control works within range for up to four units grouped together. Remote access, voice assistants and unlimited groups require the separate SwitchBot Hub Mini, which is not in the box. Without the hub the blinds operate only locally.

Mounting kit and light automation

The package supplies the main unit, a dedicated solar panel, a Type-C power cable and spare double-sided tape for the mounting base. A built-in light sensor adjusts the slats in 2° steps to maintain a target brightness level throughout the day. App timers and manual control via the SwitchBot app complete the feature set when the hub is absent.
