A 2U barebone storage server with a single SP5 socket for AMD EPYC 9004 processors, 24 DDR5 slots, 12 front 3.5-inch hot-swap trays with four NVMe U.2 bays, dual 10GBase-T LAN.
The TYAN B8056T70V8E6HR-2T is a 2U single-socket barebone built around the AMD EPYC 9004 platform. It targets organisations that need dense 3.5-inch capacity with front-access NVMe acceleration in a single rack unit. Twenty-four DDR5 slots and PCIe 5.0 expansion give the chassis headroom for memory-heavy workloads and high-speed networking cards.
Drive trays and the rail kit use quick-lock latches so no screwdriver is required for installation or service. The front backplane mixes twelve 3.5-inch SATA bays with four U.2 NVMe slots, while two rear U.2 trays and two M.2 sockets add flash tiers. Careful cable routing is needed to avoid blocking airflow to the dual 1200W CRPS units.
This chassis fits teams running software-defined storage, backup targets or content repositories that benefit from hybrid SAS/SATA/NVMe layouts. Buyers who require dual-socket compute density, GPU accelerator support beyond the available PCIe slots, or 2.5-inch all-flash configurations should evaluate alternative platforms.

The AST2600 BMC provides IPMI 2.0 and Redfish interfaces; connect to the dedicated 1000Base-T IPMI port to monitor POST codes, sensor readings and system event logs remotely.
The chassis ships with 12 tool-less 3.5" trays supporting four NVMe U.2 bays, two rear U.2 trays, two M.2 22110/2280 slots, and a tool-less rail kit; CPU, DDR5 DIMMs, drives and OCP 3.0 mezzanine card are not included.
Use the two x16 slots for double-width GPUs or high-bandwidth NICs, the x8 slot for single-width storage controllers, and the OCP 3.0 mezzanine for a compatible network or storage mezzanine module.
