TYAN S2518L Thunder Dual PGA370 Embedded Solution

SKU CH-Y4J3-CFBAA

Dual PGA370 embedded motherboard for dual-processor systems, supplied without accessories

  • Dual PGA370 socket supports two processors
  • Embedded form factor fits space-constrained deployments
  • New condition ensures full factory reliability
  • Model S2518L designed for integrated system builds

Dual PGA370 embedded motherboard

The TYAN S2518L Thunder accepts two PGA370 processors for multi-processing workloads in embedded deployments. It ships without accessories so integrators can match cooling and mounting hardware to the chassis. This board targets system builders who need symmetric multiprocessing in a fixed-function appliance or industrial server.

Integration notes for the S2518L

The dual-socket layout requires a power-delivery and cooling solution rated for two CPUs, plus a chassis that exposes both processor sockets. No accessories are included, so brackets, fans and cables must be sourced separately. Builders who need a single-socket design or an accessory kit should consider other form factors.

Questions about this item

What limits does the dual PGA370 socket design impose under sustained load?

The board supports two PGA370 processors, so thermal and power headroom depends on the specific CPUs installed and the cooling solution applied.

How does the bare motherboard behave for noise, heat and power when running continuously?

With no integrated fans or accessories, acoustics and thermals are determined entirely by the external cooler and chassis airflow you provide.
